Residential Grade 16 Mil reinforced Crawl Space Vapor BarrierMade from premium grade virgin polyethylene resin. Most plastic manufactures can't say that and be truthful! Our new Residential Grade crawl space vapor barrier is made from the same material, manufacturing process and reinforcement as our commercial grade crawl space vapor barrier. The 16 Mil Residential Grade is rated as Medium duty, while our Commercial Grade is rated medium to heavy duty depending on which thickness. We chose to make the Residential Grade to fill a need for a lower cost crawl space vapor barrier, but of course you can still purchase the Commercial Grade if you wish. We work very hard to supply our customers with the products that meet their needs as well as their budget.
Be aware that there is an increased availability of low quality "white" plastic from China being sold as a crawl space vapor barrier. With our products you get the absolute best quality and performance as well as the technical support you need to install our products and answer all of your questions. The Residential Grade 16 Mil SilverBack is the best choice for most crawl spaces requiring a more durable vapor barrier. It will handle Medium storage requirements, or heavy storage if used with our Felt 550.This is one of our newest SilverBack™ vapor barrier for crawl spaces, designed to be lower cost and give high moisture protection. I am very happy with the 16 mil vapor retarder and other support items for this system. Very happy with the result since we converted a vented space that was a nightmare into one that was actually pleasant to be in. It should pay in utility bill dividends over the next few years. |

As you'll find if you read the information in the learning center that this product is everything they claim it to be. It is actually easier to work then the cheap 6 mil because of it being so strong. I'm happy to say that I did a better than professional job with this barrier. Highly recommend. Shipping was fast and love the learning center. |
